Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu of Kebbi state and Chairman of Progressives Governors Forum has paid a condolence visit to Borno state over the death of 43 farmers murdered in cold blood by insurgents.
Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu who was together with the Governor of Ekiti State and Chairman of Nigeria’s Governors Forum Mr. Kayode Fayemi, the Deputy Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Sokoto State, Rt. Hon. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal and the Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello, expressed shock and deep sympathy to the government and people of Borno State on the horrendous act by callous persons.
The governor of Ekiti State who spoke on their behalf extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the deceased and wished those who sustained injuries quick recovery while praying to Allah to prevent a recurrence and return Borno state to tranquility.
On his way to Sokoto Airport, Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu had made a stopover near WACOT Rice Mill Argungu during which he interacted with women in search of daily livelihood by putting to use, processed rice wastes.
Out of delight, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu offered the women financial support to reinforce their sustenance.
