Pledges to collaborate on export promotions

The National Shea Products Association of Nigeria NASPAN today received the newly appointed Coordinator of the Nigeria Export Promotion Council NEPC Mal Suraj Dan Alkali who arrived the State to formally resume duties

Earlier in the day, the Coordinator was at the State Ministry of Commerce, Industry, Cooperative and Tourism to announce his presence in the State before attending a meeting of Kebbi Youth Connect at the Ministry of Environment and Solid Minerals which centred on youth participation in Agribusiness and Export Enterprises in the State.

NASPAN National Publicity Secretary Mal Abubukar Bagudu Dallatun Kalgo welcomed the New Coordinator to the State and promised to collaborate with the Kebbi NEPC Smart Office to promote exports of Shea Products and other exportable Agricultural Commodities from the State.

He explained that with the new smart office in the State: robust export activities are expected to take place : moreso that Kebbi State is the major outlet to the West African markets by land and Water; giving it an edge in the push for participation in the African Continental Free Trade Agreement and the ECOWAS Trade Liberalisation Agreement among others.
