Kebbi traditional leader lauds Gov. Bagudu’s dev. projects in his domain

A notable traditional leader in Zuru emirate of Kebbi State, the Chiefdom of Sakaba in Sakaba Local Government Area, Alhaji Muhammad Ladan, has applauded governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for carrying out people oriented projects in his domain .

He described the construction of roads,Primary Healthcare Centres and provision of electricity in his area by Gov. Atiku Bagudu as unprecedented.

The Chiefdom stated this on Friday in Sakaba town while speaking with newsmen on the impact of the projects on his people.

It could be recalled that the administration of Gov. Bagudu had constructed roads, primary healthcare centres, market stores, solar lights, and rehabilitated the palace of the Chiefdom  in the area.

Ladan, who expressed delight over the execution of the projects in his domain, saying,” it is as if,Gov. Bagudu is the governor of Sakaba town.”

“We are happy with the government of the day as we have never had any government that impacted positively on the lives of our people like Government of Bagudu. This is unprecedented.

” I can recalled that, we used to travel down from here to Dankolo which was then three hours journey, couple with hitches owing to the bad road.
“But now,we can travel from here to Dankolo within one hour because the road has been constructed,tarred by Gov. Bagudu-led administration.

“When you go round the town, you will see other developmental projects such as Primary Healthcare, drainage, street light or solar lights as well as other infrastructural facilities in our town and its environment, especially the renovation of my palace,” he said.

The Chiefdom added that the community were grateful to the state governor for the appointment of one of their daughter, Hajiya Rakiya Ayuba as a Commissioner of Commerce and Industry of the state who is also a resident of the town.

He also commended the state government over the provisions of primary healthcare and electricity in the town.

He opined that the Primary Healthcare Center in the area has afforded  their wives and children to have quick access to health care.

Hajiya Aisha Sakaba, a trader in Sakaba town market, noted that the road constructed by the state government had improved the business transactions and commercial activities in the town.

“The traders can now travel for business trip without spending the whole day on the road,” she said.
