It was a memorable day in Argungu and Birnin Kebbi this Friday, 30/7/2021 as the Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu attended double grand weddings.

The governor joined important personalities, politicians, and wellwishers at the wedding Fatiha of Ghazali Sulaiman Jarma, the son of Chief of Staff, Government House, Birnin Kebbi, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi) with Zainab Alhaji Adamu and Bashir Abubakar Nayaya, the son of the Chairman, local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Abubakar Nayaya with Nusaiba Abubakar Koko.

The wedding Fatiha of the son of Chief of Staff Government House Birnin Kebbi, Ghazali Sulaiman with Zainab Alhaji Adamu took place at Shiek Abubakar Mahmud Gumi Mosque, Tudun Wada in Argungu after payment of One hundred Thousand naira dowry by the groom to the bride.

The National leader of Izala group, Shiek Bala Lau with other Islamic clerics, Shiek Aminu Daurawa, Shiek Abbas Giro offered prayer at the ceremony after the two rakaat Jumuat prayer.

Similarly, in Birnin Kebbi, at the Central Mosque , the governor witnessed the wedding Fatiha of Bashir Abubakar Nayaya, the son of the Chairman of Kebbi State Local Government Service Commission, Alhaji Abubakar Nayaya with Nusaiba Abubakar Koko.

A dowry of One Hundred Thousand naira was paid by the groom to the bride.

Alhaji Sambo Aliyu , Magajin Rafin Gwandu served as the Waliyyi (Guardian) of the bride Nusaiba Abubakar Koko while the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, SAN served as the Wakil (Representative) for the groom, Bashir Abubakar Nayaya.

Top Government functionaries, politicians, civil servants as well as hundreds of wellwishers thronged the Birnin Kebbi Central Mosque to witness the glamorous event.
