The Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu on Saturday, 27th February, 2021, attended the wedding of the daughter of the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri.

The epoch-making making ceremony attended by important personalities and hundreds of people, took place in Yauri, at the family residence of Alhaji Umaru Iyan Yauri , the grand father of the bride , Aisha Babale Umar, by 2:05 pm.

Soon after the arrival of Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, in company of Attorney General of the federation and Minister for Justice, Abubakar Malami ( SAN) and Senator Bala Ibn NaAllah the marriage solemnization begun with the governor serving as the Wali for the bride, while the Minister for Justice, served as the Wakil for the groom, Jamilu Abubakar.

After the payment of One Hundred thousand naira dowry by the Wakil of the groom, through the Minister of Justice, the wedding prayer was performed by the Imam .

Governor Bagudu prayed God to bless the new couple and give them a blissful marital life forever.

It was a beehive of activities at the wedding ceremony as important personalities and hundreds of friends and well-wishers of the groom and bride, thronged the venue .

Among important personalities who attended the wedding were two former Governors of the State, Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero and Alhaji Saidu Nasamu Dakingari, Alhaji Samaila Yombe Dabai, State Deputy governor, Speaker, Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Samaila AbdulMumini Kamba and the Chief of Staff, Government House, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi).

Others include: Senators, House of Representatives, State House of Assembly Members,Acting Head of Service, Sufyanu Bena, Commissioners,Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, Local Governments Chairmen, Civil Servants, politicians and bussinesmen, among others.
