Bagudu condoles Sokoto PWA Chair over Father’s death

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, on Saturday condoled with the Chairman of the Sokoto State Pilgrims Welfare Agency (PWA), Alhaji Muntari DanMaigona over the death of his Father, Alhaji Umaru Maigona.

The Governor, who was at the residence of Dan Maigona in Sokoto, prayed the Almighty Allah to forgive the deceased and grant him Aljannat Firdaus.

‘ Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi rajiun, we are here to condole the family, relatives and friends of the late Alhaji Umaru Maigona.

‘ I prayed to Allah to forgive him and grant him eternal rest in Aljannat Firdaus , amin ,” he prayed.

Bagudu also consoled the family by praying to the Almighty Allah to give them the formidable fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

In his response, the eldest son of the deceased, Alhaji Muntari Dan Maigona, expressed gratitude to the Governor for the invaluable visit.

He thanked the governor for leaving his tight schedule, to come for the condolence visit, with his entourage, while he described the Governor as a good friend to his Father

The deceased, Alhaji Umaru Maigona, died on Monday at the age of 84, leaving behind four wives and many children.
