Rotary International District 9125 has recognized H.E Dr Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu for her contributions to communities in Kebbi State and Nigeria at large particularly in the area of health care.

This recognition was presented at the investiture ceremony of Mrs Jumoke Bamigboye as the 12th and the 1st Female Governor of District 9125 and launching of District project which held September 12, 2020, Ilorin, Kwara State.

The award was received on behalf of the first lady in Ilorin by a team consisting of Hajiya Memuna Sulaiman Jega, SSA to the Governor of kebbi state and Hajiya Hafsat Abdullahi.

Dr Bagudu has been a back bone of indigent cancer patients and survivors through her Medicaid Cancer Foundation. Her humanitarian activities span orphans and less privileged, educational scholarships and health interventions. Of recent, Dr Bagudu has been at forefront in risk communication and palliative distribution in the Covid19 pandemic. Currently, with the emergence of the destructive floods in kebbi state, Her Excellency and her team have brought succor to victims by providing relief.
