Emergence of Kebbi Enterpreneur as National MSME Spicy Award Winner excites Gov Bagudu

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has attended the 3rd Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) program which held in Abuja this Thursday.

The event conducted virtually was chaired by Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

Similarly, former deputy Governor and Chief of Staff to Governor of Kebbi state, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu (Jarman Kabi) , Commissioner for Commerce, Rakiya Tanko Ayuba and other top officials of the state have participated virtually, from Birnin Kebbi.

Speaking during the event, Bagudu commended President Muhammadu Buhari and Osibanjo, for the MSME initiative.

According to the Kebbi Governor, in spite of the negative toll the raging Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19), had taken on the world’s economy, that of Nigeria would be strongly bolstered, courtesy of lofty initiatives like the MSME.

Bagudu further said that, the award was apt and timely, just as it will greatly enhance the socioeconomic development of the country .

His words, ” with these types of laudable initiatives, Nigeria will certainly emerge as a formidably stronger nation.”

The governor was also visibly elated that, an entrepreneur from the state,Sa’adatu Haruna Illo, emerged as the winner and won a car, as well as N 500,000.

In her thank you remarks, Saadatu Haruna Illo , who emerged the winner in the MSME spicy category, thanked President Muhammdu Buhari , Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and the entire SMEs staff for their encouragement .

She also expressed appreciation and gratitude to Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu for his support and development of SMEs in Kebbi State promising to continue to do more for the State.
