The Infrastructure Committee also visited Magama LG where the following 2 critical issues were raised among others:

1. The communities in Magama that have been without light for more than 17months as a result of change of power source.

This was explained to the Committee by the Hon. Commisioner of Justice and the Director Electrical Engineering Department, Mininsty of works.

2. The Nasko road which causes the people of the area untold hardship because of its state of disrepair due to decades of total neglect by previous governments.

While briefing newsmen, the Committee Chairman, Hon. Ibrahim Balarabe Kagara stated that the two aforementioned issues will form part of the committee’s meeting on Tuesday and report will be submitted to the Governor immediately.

He assured the communities that light will soon be restored.
